Sugar Rainbow, Dutch-born, mixed heritage, Singer/Songwriter/Arranger based in England.
She started being creative at a young age, hearing melodies in her mind and visualize finishing songs, including harmonies. She always had lots of ideas, creating something positive to the world.

In her late teens, she met her manager from Chicago, based in Belgium, trying to get a record deal for her.
Around that time, she hooked up with a keyboard player, doing gigs around Holland, Belgium, and France.

Sugar Rainbow set up her first recording studio at home and recorded her first “2 albums” (Magic Touch) and (Awareness) plus an EP (Something Special). She decided to keep the name “Sugar” but wanted something that flows on the albums and thought about how American Indians had those interesting names and chose to add the word “Rainbow” which was positive, colourful, togetherness, love & peaceful, also because of her Apache mix heritage that would perfectly make sense. Her artist name “Sugar Rainbow” was born.

Then she got invited to Africa with her manager, where the albums were well received.
They also went to France, having meetings with different companies in the Midem. She created new contacts and had the opportunity to work with “Conley Abrams” in the USA, who worked with Babyface, John B, Michael Jackson, Dr Dre, Tupac, Queen Latifah, Eddy Murphy and plenty more, where she signed a contract, and recorded another great album (Nu Soul) which was well received. She lived in California for a while and had a wonderful time and experiences meeting and singing with various artists.

On returning to England, she signed up with a Production Company specializes in Pop/Rock music and recorded another album where she Co-wrote with the team. Also recorded backing vocals for TikTok rock band…
After, She hooked up with a sound engineer who worked with different artist and recorded “2 more albums” (Invisible Life) and (Independent Dreams).

Then she was invited to sing in a Jazz/funk band with some great musicians where she met the funky bass player “John Thompson”, who worked with various great artists such as D’Angelo, Girls Aloud, Spice Girls, Omar, The Jones Girls, Erykah Badu, Eric Bennet, Tito Jackson, Brandy, Soul2Soul, Shalamar, Jocelyn Brown, and many others.
